Shifting getting a little sloppy?? This is an upgraded “Original-Style” shift coupler. It features our billet aluminum housing which is considerably stronger and more ductile than the brittle O.E.M. die cast housing. We install factory-style (slightly oblong cross-pin bore) Delrin bushings to accomodate for the inherant driveline oscillations when using stock engine and transmission mounts. Our machined Delrin bushings are harder, more lubricious and much longer lasting than the O.E.M. molded bushings for a more positive feel, while still maintaining Porsche’s design intent for NVH mitigation. This coupler is recommended for cars with stock (rubber-isolated) engine and transmission mounts.
