M96-P100 “Flat-Rater” Spark Plug Tube Puller Tool

We call this “The Flat-Rater” because this is the fastest, easiest way to remove spark plug tubes from 1997-2002 Boxster, Boxster S or 1999-2001 911 (996) with the engine in or out of the car! You don’t even need to remove the spark plugs. Forget the boat bilge plugs, bearing pullers, pry bars, taps and cobbled-together hardware. No screws or nuts to turn. No “adjustments” to make. Simply slide The Flat-Rater in and pull the tube out with your fingers. In most cases no additional leverage is required. It will probably take you longer to remove the coil pack than the spark plug tube with this purpose-built tool.

The possibility of tube breakage is virtually eliminated when using this tool. That’s because all other methods, including the Factory’s recommended internal bearing puller, rely on exerting expanding forces on the tube to get enough “grip” to remove the tube. Expanding forces distort the tube outwardly and make it even harder to remove. The Flat-Rater only exerts “pulling force” on the inner end of the tube.
