Flywheel (Billet Steel, Single Mass, Euro “RS” Version)

Billet steel flywheel “RS” single mass type. 100% CNC machined in-house from Special Bar Quality steel billet to replace original cast iron part# 964.102.239.31. Our billet version is slightly heavier than the cast iron original. This aids in reducing the propensity for some cars that have been converted from the much heavier dual mass flywheel to die after fast deceleration due to the engine management system’s inability to resume the injection of fuel soon enough to establish idle. If you are converting from a dual mass flywheel, you will also need the following parts to complete the conversion: (1) 964.116.028.90 pressure plate, (1) 996.116.015.32 disc spring center, (1) 944.116.080.01 Release bearing, (1) 136.830 release bearing guide tube, (1) 964.114.143.31 ring gear, (1) 931.102.111.02 pilot bearing, (9) 928.102.151.01 flywheel bolt and (9) 900.067.103.01 pressure plate bolt. Balanced.
